Lake Nakuru day trip

The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi,
in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The
ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded
and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological
diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other
water birds being the major attractions of the area. The
ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals
including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of
terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.

Lake Nakuru Natational Park Express is a full day trip to
the Great rift Valley escarpment, 160kms from Nairobi. Lunch
is taken
before an afternoon game drive. On return journey there is
stop at Lake Naivasha where bird watchers will delight in

0700hrs: Depart Nairobi for Nakuru National park
Arrive at the Nakuru National park and proceed for a 2hr
game drive.
Enjoy lunch at the Sarova Lionhill Lodge
OR Lake Nakuru Lodge with ample time to relax.

1830hrs: Arrive in Nairobi and be dropped off
at a location of your choice within the city.
