Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Often described as the greatest of nature's stages, the
Maasai Mara, with it's huge dramatic skies, is perhaps the
most popular of all Kenya's game parks. The landscape, which
is mostly savannah, hosts around 22 families of lions and
3,000 elephants while the Mara River is one of the best
places to observe crocodiles and hippos. The migration takes
place in the Massai Mara.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will make and early
departure from Nairobi for a journey south along the floor
of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for a delicious
lunch. The afternoon will be spent game viewing; the best
time for game viewing is late afternoon, when the heat of
the day encourages the animals out to eat. Dinner and
overnight at luxury lodge.
Day 2: Game Drives in Masai Mara
Masai Mara tour Full day spent in search of the elephant,
rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard and other plains game. There
are option activities like an early morning balloon flight
or safari which gives you the chance to get closer to the
animals in their natural environment. Or you may decide to
take a nature walk or visit to a nearby Masai Village.Dinner

Day 3: Masai Mara to lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of
Nakuru town and lies a distance of 160 kilometers from
Nairobi. The lake is world famous as home to millions of
flamingoes. The number of flamingoes depends on the water
level which determines the quantity of algae on which the
birds feed. Flamingoes are known to migrate to other Rift
Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National
Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the
colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for
endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25
white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in
the country. Predators are also residents to this park while
Rothschild’s giraffe have been trans-located into the park
for safety. Accommodation includes two lodges, a KWS guest
house, campsites, self help bandas and two picnic

After breakfast leave the lodge and depart for Nakuru. Lunch
is served en-route. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its large
variety birds. The park has also been enlarged, partly to
set up a sanctuary for black rhino. Enjoy sundowners
overlooking the lake followed by Dinner and overnight at
luxury lodge..
Day 4: Nakuru to Baringo
The two lakes lie on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and
are an ornithologist’s paradise. Bogoria is a salt water
lake and contains flamingoes while there are hot springs and
geysers, evidencing the area’s volcanic origin. At Baringo,
over 350 species of birds have been recorded of both
migratory and resident composition. A boat ride on the lake
is a worthwhile complement to your visit. Dinner and

Today the morning will be spent viewing game at Lake Nakuru
and in the afternoon proceed to Lake Baringo. There is also
the option of a boat trip to view the many birds which
inhabit this lake. Dinner and overnight at luxury camp.
Day 5: Baringo to Nairobi via Bogoria
After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria. This National Park is
well known for its hot springs and geysers, which erupt
sporadically and violently throughout the area, but many
visitors enjoy what feels like a natural spa. On the
southern end of the lake may find gazelles, leopards, and
buffaloes. The most popular attractions are the thousands of
flamingos that gather on the lake. Depart after a picnic
lunch for Nairobi via Nakuru.
