Nakuru, Maasai Mara adventure migration safari. An adventure wildlife safari to the scenic scrubland of
Samburu - this safari gives a great insight into Kenya's

Day 1 : Nairobi- Samburu Game Reserve
Pick up from your hotel at 0700 hrs and passing the majestic
Mt. Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu Game
Reserve. We camp in the narrow stretch of palms and woodland
by the Ewaso Nyiro River which provides water for the
animals and some relief from the equatorial sun.
Day 2 : Samburu National reserve.
Full day spent exploring the park. Dinner and overnight at a
campsite.
The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular
scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the
local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves
have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife
which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated
giraffe, grevys zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro
river. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the
sanctuaries.
Day 3 : Lake Nakuru National park.
We break the camp soon after break fast and proceed to Lake
Nakuru National park. Game is viewed as we exit the park.
Lunch enroute followed by an afternoon game drives as the
pick lake. Dinner and overnight at Kembu campsite.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of
Nakuru town and lies a distance of 160 kilometers from
Nairobi. The lake is world famous as home to millions of
flamingoes. The number of flamingoes depends on the water
level which determines the quantity of algae on which the
birds feed. Flamingoes are known to migrate to other Rift
Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National
Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the
colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for
endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25
white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in
the country. Predators are also residents to this park while
Rothschilds giraffe have been trans-located into the park
for safety
Day 4 : Lake Nakuru Maasai Mara
We break the camp soon after breakfast and travel south
through the beautiful savannahs and plains of the Rift
Valley and reach our base camp site, where we enjoy another
evening out bush under the far-reaching African sky. Game is
viewed as we proceed to our campsite for Dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 5 & 6 Maasai Mara
Spend the next two days on game drives exploring the Masai
Mara. The open grasslands are home to incredibly rich and
varied wildlife and the awesome, annual migration of
millions of wildebeest and antelope is the highlight of any
visit to Africa from July to September. Optional balloon
safari can be arranged at an extra coat of US$485 per
person.
The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenyas most popular
game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game
reserve in Kenya. The film Out of Africa was made to a great
extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can
be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual
migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from
Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara
River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June.
The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the
migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to
August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to
about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon
safaris are readily available in this park
Day 7 Maasai Mara Nairobi
Heading north to Narok, we stop to browse in the bustling,
vibrant Maasai markets to buy curios and handicrafts before
continuing to Nairobi where our safari ends. Cost per person

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife
sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is
situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at
the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa
(5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view
on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to
as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant
herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast
groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos
and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions,
leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain gamed
through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount
Kilimanjaro. Animal species seen include elephant, zebra,
wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopard. The birdlife seen
here includes pelican, bee eater, kingfisher, African fish
eagle and pygmy falcon
Day 3.Amboseli - Lake Nakuru
Depart Amboseli in the morning Via Nairobi for lunch and
drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries enroute,
arriving to the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s
Great masses of Flamingos. Arrival is in the early evening
and proceed for game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake
Nakuru guest house
Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's
and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake
itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The
sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite
spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in
pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important
haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild
Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck,
buffalo and baboons are all residents here
Day 4. Lake Nakuru -Maasai Mara
Morning game drive, Watch and photograph Birds and Animals ,
breakfast and depart for Masai Mara, Arrive in time for

Day 3, Lake Baringo, Great Rift Valley
Leaving Samburu, cross the Lerochi Plateau and descend to
the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Baringo
by early afternoon. This fresh water lake supports an
abundance of birdlife alongside hippos and crocodiles that
languish on the lake shore. Meals and overnight at
wildlife camp
Day 4, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru
At the nearby Lake Bogoria visit an area of bubbling hot
springs and steaming geysers, and admire the pink swathes of
flamingos on the soda lake. Then at Lake Nakuru National
Park enjoy an afternoon game drive, where we literally trip
over the many rhino in the park, and if lucky might see a
pride of lion languishing in the shade, or leopard in the
Acacia trees. Meals and overnight at wildlife camp
Day 5 - 6, Masai Mara
Travel south through the beautiful savannahs and plains of
the Rift Valley and reach our base camp site, where we enjoy
another evening out bush under the far-reaching African sky.

Day 1. Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning heading north via shoulder of
mount Kenya to Samburu Game reserve fro lunch. Afternoon
game drive. Dinner and overnight at Campsite.
Day 2. Samburu National Reserve
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight at campsite.
Day 3. Marsabit
After breakfast we head north along the trans Africa highway
to Marsabit an extinct Volcano heavily forested on the upper
slopes. Set up camp and visit the lodge inside the National
Park, see elephants buffalo ,greater Kudu among others as
the lodge is perched on the edge of the water filled crater
. Thick forest hampers deeper penetration and viewing so we
don't penetrate further.
Day 4. Kalacha
Visit Marsabit town and another volcanic crater and later
come back into the desert and lava flows. Camp at Kalacha,
which is a small settlement on the edge of the Chalbi
desert.
Day 5. Lake Turkana
Early morning departure crossing the Chalbi desert. When
wet, the desert can not be crossed and alternative routes to
the south and north are used. Arrive at the campsite outside
Loiyangalani enjoying a cool breeze from the lake soon after
lunch. Pitch tents and relax protected from the scorching
sun and heat characteristic of the harsh climate of this
remote area.
Day 6. Lake Turkana.
Relax and bath only to be interrupted by short boat
excursion to visit the surrounding areas. also loiyangalani
and the community settled there. Evening make a visit to the
Turkana manyattas for traditional dances under a star
studded sky at an extra cost if acceptable by clients. An
experience to treasure.
Day 7. Maralal
We join through south Horr and Baragoi to Maralal, a
forested area.
Day 8. Nairobi
Move southwards via Laikipia and Thomson Falls (Nyahururu)
and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

the stars of Samburu rarely found elsewhere including

Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast at Samburu and depart for Lake Nakuru, which is an
armchair in the Rift Valley Lakes stopping at Thomson Falls
arriving Nakuru for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and
overnight at the campsite.
Day 5 Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast at the campsite and depart for Mara crossing loita
plains arriving Mara. Game viewing enroute to the campsite.

Morning and afternoon game drive extending to the hippo

Break the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to
Naivasha.Lunch followed by afternoon visit to Hells Gate
National park. Dinner and Overnight stay at a campsite.
Hells Gate Park can be explored on foot/vehicle .You can
also hire a bicycle and cycle around the park.
Day 9: Naivasha – Amboseli
We break the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to
Amboseli National park via Nairobi. Game is viewed as we
proceed to the campsite for diner and overnight stay if time
allows. Amboseli park (at 392 sq km) is the second most
popular park in Kenya after Masai Mara, mainly due to the
spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern
boundary.
Day 10 Amboseli National park
Today you will spend the full day in Amboseli with early
morning and evening game drives. Whilst in the park, you
will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against
the wonderful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. All meals and
overnight at a campsite.
Day 11: Amboseli – Tsavo West National park
After an early breakfast depart for Tsavo West National Park
which lies roughly half way between Nairobi and the Coast.
Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of
hippos and crocodiles. Picnic lunch then proceed for an
evening game drive to see large herds of elephants, buffalo,
common waterbuck, eland, rhino and a wide variety of
antelope. Dinner and overnight at a Campsite .
Day 12: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National park
We break the camp soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo
East National park. Game is viewed as we exit the park .
This park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered
in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards
Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier
season) and Aruba Dam as we view game if time permits.
Dinner and overnight stay at a Campsite.
Day 13: Tsavo East National park
Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon
gamedrives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at a
campsite. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier,
despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through
the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the
Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos.
Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along
the river banks.
Day 14: Tsavo East –Mombasa /Nairobi
Early morning game drive. Soon after breakfast we proceed to
Mombasa arriving at 1400 hrs.Drop off at a beach hotel to
start a beach holiday. Cost per person US$
