A semi luxury Tented Camp in the National Game Reserve and parks of Kenya "The Place

Camp tents are built between natural trees and well-spaced giving you the comfort and privacy as you enjoy peace and tranquility.

12 days Tsavo east which characteristically short-maned Tsavo lions; cheetahs appear often; all the plains grazers and bush browsers are much in evidence; and those elephants never let us down: droves of them – many with big tusks – surge across the river, wallow in the waterholes and file over the red earth roads in front of bulging baobab trees. Poaching has been on the increase in recent years, but it hasn’t reached the epidemic levels of the late 1980s and the park is now much better equipped to deal with it

12 days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Amboseli, Tsavo east, Tsavo west budget camping safaris

A fantastic 10 day Kenya and Tanzania budget Camping Safari which starts from Kenya's one of Africa's best game viewing destinations Masai mara!

This Safari will start off with a journey to the beautiful Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley witch offers spectacular views of the Masai Mara Park we will spend our time in search of the wildlife that makes this one of Africa's premier National Parks. The Masai Mara is especially famous for its Large Cat population and also the fact that it plays an integral role in the Wildebeest Migration, wildlife spectacular like none other on earth and ends at Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world. The scenic and wildlife adventure of this long Kenya and Tanzania Camping Safari ends back in Nairobi on the last day.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

Departing from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, we drive down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. We arrive at Masai mara camp in time for lunch.

The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full day game drives in search of Africa's Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera.

The Mara reserve is 1510 km˛ of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru

Pre breakfast game drive, return to campsite for late breakfast and leave your campsite and proceed to L.Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Nakuru Hotel.

Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake on the edges of Nakuru town and lies a distance of 160 kilometers from Nairobi. The lake is world famous as home to millions of flamingoes. The number of flamingoes depends on the water level which determines the quantity of algae on which the birds feed. Flamingoes are known to migrate to other Rift Valley lakes whenever the water level is low. The National Park surrounds the lake and was gazetted to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for endangered species such as the rhino. There are about 25 white and black rhinos, one of the largest concentrations in the country. Predators are also residents to this park while Rothschild’s giraffe have been trans-located into the park for safety
