About Wild Safaris & Travel
Wild Safaris & Travel is a certified safari company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We plan and operate safaris across Kenya and Tanzania for solo travellers, couples, families and groups. We have been doing this since 2010 and we know these parks well — the right camps, the right seasons, and the routes that give you the best wildlife experience for your budget.
We are a small team and we like it that way. Every safari we put together is planned personally — not generated by software or handed off to a call centre. When you contact us, you speak directly to the person who will plan your trip and stay in touch throughout your time in the field.
Our guides are Kenya Wildlife Service licensed and have years of experience working in the parks. They know animal behaviour, they know where to look, and they know how to make a game drive worthwhile whether you are seeing your first lion or your hundredth.
We work with lodges and camps that we have visited and trust — from comfortable mid-range properties to luxury tented camps. We do not recommend accommodation we have not personally vetted.

What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry or booking form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number and any details you include about your travel plans. We also collect standard website analytics data (page visits, browser type) through tools like Google Analytics.

Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share limited information (your name and travel dates) with lodges and camps as part of confirming your booking. We do not share your contact details with any marketing or advertising company.

Terms & Conditions
By booking a safari with Wild Safaris & Travel, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
Bookings and deposits
A booking is confirmed once we have received a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your safari start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations by the client
- More than 60 days before departure: Full deposit refunded minus a $50 administration fee
- 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total safari cost is non-refundable
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total safari cost is non-refundable
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@wildsafarisandtravel.com
Cancellations by Wild Safaris & Travel
In the unlikely event that we cancel your safari due to circumstances within our control, we will offer a full refund or an alternative safari of equivalent value. We are not liable for cancellations caused by events outside our control including natural disasters, government travel restrictions or park closures.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance with medical evacuation cover is strongly recommended for all safaris. We are not responsible for costs incurred due to illness, injury, loss of belongings or any other personal misfortune during your trip.
Health and vaccinations
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct vaccinations and health documentation for travel to Kenya and Tanzania. Yellow Fever vaccination may be required depending on your country of departure. Please check with your doctor or travel clinic before travel.
Park fees and government charges
All quoted prices include park and conservancy fees at the rates applicable at the time of booking. If park fees are increased by the relevant authority before your departure, we reserve the right to pass on the difference.
Liability
Wild Safaris & Travel acts as an agent for lodges, camps, vehicle operators and other service providers. While we take great care in selecting our partners, we cannot be held liable for acts, omissions or negligence by third-party service providers. Our maximum liability to any client is limited to the total cost of the safari booked.
Changes to itinerary
Wildlife viewing is subject to seasonal and environmental conditions. We reserve the right to adjust routes, accommodation or activities where necessary for safety, park regulations or wildlife conservation reasons. Any changes will be communicated to you as early as possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
